OUR STORY

RESGREEN was born in the face of the problem exposed by the president of the Union of Pasta Products in the State of Rio de Janeiro, linked to 2,622 companies during an event of the Hackathon type, organized by SEBRAE and UFRJ.

 

A brilliant student who was not satisfied with only the award decided to turn the idea into a successful case. Aiming this, she created RESGREEN who developed the intelligent solution capable of solving not only the problem of the companies, but also the problem of the consumer and mainly of 111 million human beings who die of starvation by avoiding Food Wasting.

 

After winning some hackathons and stay at superb position in other contests in Brazil, the project previously evaluated and considered feasible by entities such as Sebrae. The initiative studied the market and was validated and get highlight in 2018 at the biggest event in food area at Brazil, RIOEXPOFOOD.

 

Today, With this project, RESGREEN aims to expand its product portfolio by incorporating the technology developed by PLASTICOR initiative, which consists in the production of transparent and flexible plastic, 100% biodegradable and compostable, made from BRAZIL.
